Example project

A more versatile end effector for automotive manufacturing

A major car manufacturer was losing time switching hoist end effectors every time they needed to move a different model of transmission onto the vehicle assembly line. We solved this problem by analyzing the designs of five different transmission models, identifying the common points, and designing and producing a single end effector that worked for all five transmissions.
We’ve developed comparable solutions for manufacturing companies in many different industries.

People often come to us saying, ‘I want a machine that’s just like this, but different.’ We can make that happen. And we love those kinds of projects, because with technology advancements since that original machine was built, say in the ‘80s or ‘90s, we can make the new machine not just different in the right ways but also significantly better.
