Hein Grosskopf – General Manager.
Hein Grosskopf, the newly appointed General Manager, is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Control Systems and Business Management. He boasts a rich background in the high-tech Aerospace industry and has held significant roles in renowned companies. With over 13 years of dedicated experience in the mining sector, Hein’s mission is to leverage his business-building insight to deliver value to clients and stakeholders. He aims to achieve this through growth strategies aiming to put FLANDERS on the forefront throughout Africa, product improvements, digital advances, and automation to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
Norman van Rensburg – Financial Manager.
As the Financial Manager, Norman brings over 20 years of Senior Management experience in both Finance and Commercial disciplines. His expertise extends across the FMCG, Manufacturing, and Mining Industries. Being a qualified South African Chartered Accountant and a UK CEDR accredited Mediator, Norman’s financial prowess will play a pivotal role in ensuring the sustainability and success of FLANDERS’ ventures.
Nomvula Mashabane – HR Generalist.
With 15 years of experience in the mining industry, Nomvula Mashabane is a skilled HR Generalist. Holding National Diplomas, a B-Tech Degree in Human Resources Management, and a Higher Certificate in Management, she brings a profound understanding of HR functions, including payroll, recruitment, and employee relations. Nomvula’s passion for fostering a positive workplace culture that encourages creativity and productivity aligns perfectly with FLANDERS’ commitment to its employees’ well-being.
Douw Snyman – Safety Specialist and Office Manager.
Douw Snyman is a multi-talented individual, taking on the roles of Safety Specialist, Office Manager, Marketing Campaigner, and IT Business Partner. His dedication to safety and love for outdoor activities, fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with family and friends showcases his well-rounded personality. Douw’s commitment to safety aligns with FLANDERS’ mission of providing reliable and secure solutions to its clients.
Johan Booysen – Senior Operations Manager.
With over two decades of experience in opencast and underground mining operations, Johan Booysen brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Having led several highly profitable collieries focusing on Asset Strategy and Reliability, Johan’s expertise is vital in furthering FLANDERS’ goal of becoming a renowned electrical partner in South Africa and across the entire African continent.
Bob Parke – Principal Engineer.
Bob Parke, a highly skilled engineer with over 35 years of industry experience, specializes in large rotating equipment and controls. His impressive track record of delivering exceptional results for clients worldwide and his continuous pursuit of knowledge and best practices make him an invaluable asset to the team. Bob’s passion for safety, quality, and reliability aligns perfectly with FLANDERS’ commitment to excellence.
Roger Lambson, Director, Business Development.
As a mechanical engineer, Roger has primarily spent his career in senior roles for multi-national corporations in the mining sector (Boart Longyear, GE, Bucyrus, Caterpillar, Barloworld). He brings a practical yet analytical and solutions-driven mindset to all he does. He has always focused on developing strategies and solutions to promote efficient, sustainable, and profitable performance. He believes that for any organisation to thrive genuinely, the same energy spent on developing products and services must also be expended on developing people. His most excellent satisfaction lies in contributing to the growth of the businesses he works with and the individuals involved.
