FLANDERS and MES Sign Memorandum of Understanding

FLANDERS and MES have agreed to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate and share their expertise to tackle the mining decarbonization challenge by deploying dual fuel technology for mining trucks.

The MoU serves as the platform to provide the best-in-class aftermarket dual fuel (natural gas + diesel) technology for diesel engine haul trucks to reduce carbon emissions from haulage operations.

“This move is a significant step forward in our Agnostic, Interoperable Fleet Decarbonization Offering Strategy, catalyzing immediate decarbonization initiatives into mine-ready reality,” said John Oliver, CEO FLANDERS.

“We are thrilled to be in alliance with MES to provide world-class sales and support to their multi-fuel decarbonization solutions for the mining industry. Our teaming up will catalyze and scale the decarbonization of the mining industry “now” while significantly reducing customers’ TCO,” said Wayne Chmiel, Chief Commercial Officer, FLANDERS.

“Decarbonizing the mining industry is a priority for us, and we are excited to be working with FLANDERS on this important initiative,” said Adrian Abbott, CEO of MES.

“Dual fuel technologies have the potential to impact reducing carbon emissions in the mining sector significantly, and we look forward to collaborating with FLANDERS to bring MES Technology to market,” Justin Kobielusz, Vice President of MES US, added.

FLANDERS and MES are excited to launch this new strategic alliance to decarbonize mining during The Electric Mine Conference in Tucson, AZ, from May 23 to the 25th. If you are participating in the event, our combined team of experts will be at booth #13 to answer any questions you may have or to discuss our unique offering.
